Yeah, that's what I mean.

I drink Taylor's of Harrogate Italian Roast - love it. But I don't obsess about 'bean to cup' and I don't need an independent artisan rarity to improve my coffee experience. That's what I mean (perhaps rather meanly) about coffee snobbery.

The difference between instant and a good filter coffee is obviously night and day - but diminishing returns after that.
