The head coach's pre-match press conference will take place at 9:45am.
------------------------------------------------------------------

DW: “We had a double session this week. Every training session helps to get used to each other and assess everybody."

DW: “We have the same squad available as against Blackburn plus Josh (Sargent).”

DW: "Ben (Gibson) is making good progress, back on the grass next week in contention for Coventry. Sam Byram will take six to eight weeks after the injury he has faced."

DW: "We have nearly 1000 away travellers for tomorrow which is unbelievable, they'll give us everything we need. We have to start paying that back."

DW: (Hayden) “From a contract situation, we cannot cancel the loan. I met him yesterday, but it’s not clear how long the injury will take. We will have to assess it every 4-8 weeks. He will hopefully be available for the last games of the season.”

DW: "It's a great situation to have three top quality strikers with different skills, different ages as well. But, the truth is, if you don't want to play someone out of position, then only two of the three will start."

DW: (Codd Cantwell) “It’s no secret. He isn’t part of the plans moving forwards. He is speaking to clubs.”

DW: (Sinani) “He didn’t start against Blackburn. Dowell didn’t either. All of the guys that came on done a good job against Blackburn.”

DW: “Kenny (McLean) brings everything to play this role. He needs to play in a position where he can play long and short passes. He is a very intelligent player. He has everything and is a top pro.”

DW: (On Bali) “I got told his name and I’ve seen some clips. My first impression of the fullbacks is positive. We will not call him back unless we can give him minutes.”

DW: “Everybody is excited. You can feel it on the training pitch and in the meetings. We had double training on Wednesday and it’s part of our regime.”

DW: "It's important for me that everybody knows his role - and to invest every single second. If you get the starting shirt, good but if not, come on, there's more games after Saturday."

DW: "I don’t like to have a huge squad. We have a great academy. I saw the U23 game last Friday.”

DW: “I’m not the biggest fan of stats. #PNEFC haven’t scored a lot of goals, but it’s all about us. I respect Preston. I am only focused on ourselves.”

DW: “I was only able to be at Carrow Road once with Huddersfield. Even though #NCFC lost that night, the atmosphere was amazing. We have 1000 away fans tomorrow. That is amazing.”

DW: “It’s football so nobody knows what happens in the next three weeks. We know it’s the transfer window. I’m positive from what I’ve seen in the first week of training.”

DW: “I was able to meet Christos and he trained with us for one session. We cannot call him back, he will stay at FC Twente.”

That concludes David Wagner’s press conference.
