IF true, NU are "paying" ?1.75m for 10% of Ipswich Town FC

IF true, it looks like Norwich Union are converting interest due to them into just under 10% of the ordinary shares of Ipswich Town Football Club.
IF true, shareholders and policy holders of Aviva Plc should be concerned at the high cost of buying just under 10% of Ipswich Town FC. What % was that man from North America due to receive for ?500k?
5% or 10%. Given Ipswich's financial state the NU should have "paid" less for just under 10%.
Why doesn't NU provide more support via sponsorship etc. to one of its "home" clubs?
