I think he’s been the same everywhere

Has he really torn it up anywhere? Has there been any overachievement really?

Walsall maybe, but he left too soon to really prove that. Brentford he did alright, but that’s all. Villa he had an excellent squad for the championship, I don’t think he overachieved. He then struggled to keep them up notwithstanding they had grealish etc.

My view is he’s a safe pair of hands, he’ll make sure a squad delivers to a reasonable standard, but won’t get that squad performing at their optimum.
