Notes from the Boardroom (cont)

As I've said before, this is one of the most sought-after roles in English football, and that's why we had to conduct such an extensive managerial search before settling on the right candidate.

It was actually really tricky, because Stewie dropped his phone in a crevice and silly boy had forgotten to back it up, so we had to spend ages getting through all the Ws in the phone book to ask if they were interested. Anyway all's well that end's well and once we'd cleared up the misunderstanding with Davina who liked the salary but was honest enough to admit her credentials weren't all that, we're able to get on with sorting out the real offer.

And yes I know that I said we were interviewing others, but really Neil doing a powerpoint and Stevie Weavie doing a Ready Steady Cook with Delia for a morning weren't completely in the process.

So might be quiet until we get all the paperwork done - you may remember that this is a particular strength of mine and I've made sure that we're fully stocked up with toners in every shade, and the fax machine is out of the cupboard. Didn't need a new email address as Germanmanger@ncfc.com still works - might have to delete that thread about oh hang on, no better not say.
Also have quite a big supply chain issue to resolve as we'd run short of scarves and Waggy does like a nice woolly neckpiece. He's a bit disappointed that the appointment wasn't earlier as he'd wanted to take part in Jurgen's annual Christmas Jumper contest, but there's always next year - well maybe not but that's the benefit of a rolling contract.
Must sign off now as we need to find where Daniel's Schnapps bottles have gone.
