I know that’s a thing. But something I’m not sure I really understand is that say that

Leaked water,for instance, surely just goes back into the ground, does it’s natural thing and ends up back in the atmosphere and rains again etc? And I know we shouldn’t waste water but say if I use a lot of water for a bath instead of a shower, doesn’t that water just eventually end up back in the system through the drains? ( actually we have a klargester so ours ends up back in the ground, but you know what I mean)
