I blame TV. Not greatly convinced that many clubs have great atmos

Naturally there is better crowd noise etc when a team is winning or on a good run.

Worst fan atmosphere I ever experienced was sitting with ManU fans at a game vs arsenal (during their haydays). Top players on the pitch and the fans endlessly moaned and spent the whole match swearing at the oppo fans. Might have been noisy, but the atmosphere was vile.

I blame telly, in general. People are used to sitting at home swearing at the box on the comfort of their own sofa. Been a general deterioration of community feel for years across the sport in general.
