The World Cup break is a perfect chance to sack Smith

He's been given a fair chance but the football has been a joyless dirge from his first game to what should now be his last.

A new manager now would have a few weeks to work with the players and figure out what we need in the January transfer window.

Keeping Smith at this point would be total incompetence from the board.
