Yes I've a few theories....

Less people working in offices - our office used to always have them for sale on reception and everyone used to buy them as walking by

People not carrying cash so much - last 2 weeks I've been to the supermarket I've kicked myself as haven't had any cash on me when they've had a puppy stall at the supermarket

Less people shopping on the high streets and shopping online instead so don't wander past collectors

Lots of people having the enamel badges which may not be so noticable

Apathy amongst younger generation
