I think Dowell needs a run in his proper position . He has shown before that

When played centrally and given a run he delivers goals and assists.

This season he’s not had that and often when he has played he’s been played wide right which isn’t his position.

He seems to have been shunted around to accommodate Ramsey. Ramsey has been ok but it feels wrong that we are developing him for Villa when we have players who are more on Pukkis wavelength not getting games.
