Good synopsis. I believe a lot of fans are still stuck in the grief cycle and haven't yet

reached an acceptance of our current situation. The squad arguably has strength in depth which might serve as well later in the season but there are no stand out performers. We are in a rebuild phase. Play-offs is a reasonable target for this season. My main concern is that I don't think Smith is the right manager to oversee that rebuild. I wasn't in favour of his appointment and he's done nothing to change my mind. I'll always thank Webber for the two wonderful promotion seasons he was part of but I also believe it would be better for all parties if he moved on as well.
