From all my years of going to Carrow Road

it would be obvious for me to say Martin Peters. However, the player who had the biggest impact in that time for me was Trevor Hockey. Only played 13 times but was immediately made captain and then single handedly galvanised the team from relegation certainties (no change there then) to a team that got on the front foot with him charging about stopping opponents attacks by fair means and foul....and alot of fouls. We only managed 9 points in that time to the end of the season (2pts for a win bitd) but those 9 kept us up by the skin of our teeth. He was a warrior, a leader, and a fans favourite after his first appearance, and should go down in our history as a saviour. This was to keep us in the top division in our first season up. He left at the end of the season and sadly died very young a few years later. We were regulated that following season without him. I wrote to his family when he died to say how much city fans loved him and had the most lovely response.
