17/18 was Farkes first season.....

where we were trying to get rid of a lot of contracts from the PL.
I remember we won a number of games 1-0 to finish 14th
on -11 GD !
We played a lot of games with 5 at the back hoping to keep it tight and nick a goal.
Maddison was about the only real quality we had, which is why we sold him because he stood out.

I dont really see the comparison between todays squad and the 2017/18 squad.

We clearly have a much higher quality squad today, which is why most people feel we should be doing better than we are (in terms of points and style of play)
