The only thing that is mentioned as going wrong is the fans’ behaviour. I guess when one is used to thinking they’ll be running Real Madrid, it’s difficult to accept that you’re not as good as you thought you were. Lovely old denial.

Yes, it’d be great if there was a wall of noise at every game, but the football is not good on the eye. And whilst I’m sure we’re all very sophisticated, it does help if a player launches in to make a tackle or generally does something that makes it looks like they’re making a concerted effort. And not only when we’re in the last five minutes and already 2-0 down. FFS.
