We're all here for some reason or other. It's all just chance.

Jim / Tim was someone I'm pleased to have had as a friend over the last 15 years or so. Without his words on here encouraging me to the pub all those years ago, I might not have bothered to say hello to anyone in the King's (as I didn't usually), and we would have missed out on all kinds of shenanigans: weekends at away games, numerous beer festivals and debauchery (of the good kind) in Stuttgart and elsewhere, camping in his garden, staring at goats, late nights and getting to call a significant number of people we met on here lifelong friends in real life. Throughout it all he was nothing less than honourable and a proper good guy. I hope he knew that.

I remember when Sugbad's daughter announced his death on here, because Tim posted such a well-judged and kind reply; it was a measure of him. It's very hard to process. User Posted Link
