Saw first episode appalling main premise - totally impossible basscenario (spoiler alert)
Firstly Driver would have seen on CC TV that someone in doorway and wouldn't have driven off.
Secondly Doors on trains can easily be forced to avoid things being permanently trapped.
Thirdly why didn't they pull the emergency lever by the door as the train moved off instead of waiting for it to stop.
Fourthly how did he manage to hang onto the door when the train started moving.
Fifthly a train travelling in the other direction on a branch line (and most main lines) would pass by on the other side of the train so would not affect someone hanging out that side.
Sixthly even with the closest of tracks there is normally about 5 feet between the two tracks.
OK it is fiction but you would have thought that at least one of these would have been picked up somewhere before the programme got anywhere near the airwaves.
Also having read some of the background it seems that it's just Daisy may Cooper translating parts of her personal life into fiction...
