Chimney and advise what kind of flue you need. Also it’s their name on the installation so they’re slightly liable. You really need a flue/ liner, it helps the draw of the fire and also prevents any fires in the chimney from old tar. I’ve recently bought a wood burner from Natural Heat just south of Attleborough. They seem pretty good.the owner is very informative, I mean VERY, she has a strong Scottish accent and she talks and talks and talks.
I paid £800 for a 5.5 burner and unfortunately £1100 for the flue and liners, and it will be another £400 to have installed, yikes. We did chop down 28 trees this year but they won’t be ready for 2 years really.
