Not sure what the temp is but on the advice of a boiler man

For 15 years I've run my boiler at a very low temp (2 on the dial) and keep the house at a constant 17 degrees. We turn the thermostat up as and when we need to, programmable thermostat returns it to 17 at various times in the day and bedtime.

The water is hot enough to bath & shower in but doesn't need much cold adding.

Our bills are pretty low and the boiler is never overworked. It's 20 years old and hasn't broken down in 15 years. Prior to that it did a fan every year without fail and 1 heat exchanger.
