As Camcan neatly points out, there's some interesting stuff around the 'art' of man management which underlies my skepticism.

Not particularly calling for Smith's head, but find it hard to argue that he shouldn't be pushed.

The answer to that is who we're targeting as a replacement.

Knudsen still seems a more interesting bet, and felt a more natural progression at the time.

If Smith was meant to add instant Prem nouse, that really didn't work. Next onto the rebuild and a lot is hinging on these handful of new midfielders.
