I don't completely agree about the pragmatism

In the prem he was very pragmatic trying to find a style that worked. When he did (4-2-4 with Idah) it got screwed over by Idah's injury.

Now he is trying to build a team more in the style he wants hence the 433. It will take time to bed in and we have yet to see Hayden / Sara / Nunez which will be the first choice 3 if all are fit.

In terms of player development we have seen Idah improve, Rowe, Gibbs and Springett all get close to the first team. Cantwell has also come back rejuvinated. Sinani also looks good.

I think part of the problem is that some players don't wnat to be here and are also scarred by the relegation. If that is the case we should move them on rather than make them stay and then work with a squad of committed players.
