Richard Symonds was a good player....late 70's / early 80's
To my somewhat vague recollection he was a homegrown left back who could also operate as a defensive midfielder and was especially capable as a man to man marker if the opposition had someone decent in their midfield. However, we had other players in those slots at the time and he never quite made the breakthrough. Sort of drifted out of the game in abt 1983, but as that was much the same time I left Norwich I have no idea what happened to him after that.
