was up the wintertons this evening

coastguard and ea air amb helos up there and three lifeboats scooting up and down the sea looking for someone. few plod cars and some search and rescue vehs. not a good outcome from reports. some of the riptide currents up there and sea palling can be fierce but no warning signs for swimmers are evident.
