the thermo meter in my car is weird

basically what happens when i start her up she overestimates the actual temp but after about 5 minutes of careful consideration she winds the temp down two or 2.5 degrees. theres a sientific reason for this, i just dont know what that is. ive just asked alexa what the temp is and she says at the moment its 35 degrees. i very much admire that she lives in the moment.
