To see if we could get tickets for Bowie on the Glass Spider tour. Touts had loads of tickets, one telling us that no one had turned up thinking they’d get in. We got our tickets for £16 each. I remember the tour being slated at the time, we loved it. Peter Frampton on guitar, Robert Plant came on, the Alarm supporting, sunny, jumpers for goalposts etc. halcyon days.
