Think this is why I'd prefer to see Pope
Play down the order a bit.
Our problems seem to have stemmed from mussing with playing players outside of their best positions - including punting players up and down the order to try and accommodate new guys (and even playing those new guys out of position).
Mo's form/head seems to have gone to s**t along with Worcestershire's... Which makes me quite sad.
Not sure why we thought importing the coaching team from a poor Gloucestershire side would do much for us, but we seem to have annoyed the established players and stunted the development of a raft of promising youngsters. Properly embarrassing now - though the four dayer side was looking interesting.
Back to England, finding 3 solid openers still seems the critical gap for the current side (or two and a number 3).
