Indeed!
This side is showing the beginnings of the signs of what really great sides do - that when the s**t hits the fan there's a couple of players who step up and turn it around.
And not just the same one or two (our over reliance on Root/anderson and Stokes is what has scuppered us recently - if they failed we were screwed).
It would be interesting to see what has changed with the handling of Bairstow - in his international career he's gone from world beater to passenger to coming back to that original form again. It is like the form temporary/class permanent argument encapsulated.
