Holocaust approach as almost a bit of a lazy emotion generator. I completely wholeheartedly agree that it should never be forgotten and should be taught to every generation, and maybe that’s why I feel as if there is a certain inevitably to the outcome of a program, be it on R4 or BBC TV as soon as they reveal that the person is Jewish. I suppose we’ve heard the history being told so many times that it is not a shock anymore. I guess the programs will be viewed by many younger people than myself. And that is good, of course.
There are many many other persecuted peoples of the world that also need their story telling.
