I have a few BTL properties

Always below market rate for rent (and get good tenants).
Also look after properties to a high standard - why wouldn’t you?
I hate to disappoint but I don’t have lots of borrowings so I am quite happy for rates to keep prices and prices of property to fall.
It will enable me to hoover a few more up and will also allow younger people on the market which is essential.
Does your BTL landlord hatred come from envy or bitterness? Too often I hear the argument you make from wasters who are claiming to be altruistic.
The worst landlords without question are Asians, they are utterly greedy and ruthless in many cases.
Also properties are often in a dismal state of maintenance.
Sadly this cannot be mentioned for fear of being accused of racism.
