Within 5 days 326,000 allied troops crossed the channel. By the end of June 1944 850,000 troops had made the crossing into France, more than 289,000 became casualties of which over 53,000 died.

Paris liberated on August 25th
Germany surrendered May 7 1945

Not a peep in the news though, they are all still fawning over the cringemongous jubilee hoping to get a future MBE or suffern. w**kers.
