It won’t in itself bring any money into the club.

Perhaps they may have access to greater funds/finance we can benefit from.

I would also console myself with the thought they wouldn’t bother doing this unless they have greater future aspirations.

But it also still points to the fact that you know who are still not prepared to let go.
