I’m not sure moving away is the solution

Facing and conquering all of his demons could prove the making of him.
I sense that seeing Lewis, Godfrey and others moving up a level must have been hard, as they were part of the same group for so long.
Couple that with an idiotic section of the fanbase who berated every error of judgement and one can understand why distancing himself might have seemed a good idea at the time.
