I find the questioning of his motivation a bit disrespectful

My view is that he's failing to live up to unreasonable expectations. Possibly his own expectations too.

I don't think for a moment that he wasn't motivated when he was at Bournemouth, but for whatever reason, he's not hitting the levels he hit with us at points last season and the season before. However, he benefited from being in a Farke team playing a style and position that was perfect for him at those times.

My view is he needs to continue working hard and improve so that he's more versatile and can play in other formations and teams with a different style of play, probably somewhere other than Norwich where he can get away from unreasonable expectations.
