would be if Farkeball was the VAR and upon receiving 3 frames of the incident, chose not to follow the protocol of selecting the first frame in which the passer had struck the ball. And in case it wasn’t obvious, nobody draws the lines. Or perhaps Farkeball would have chosen a goal scoring part of Pukki’s body which was less forward than what the trained professionals used.

So best case he’d have been guilty of incompetence and worst case, corruption. The very things that VAR have helped to reduce.
