One of the most unjust results / bits of refereeing in recent seasons, definitely. 2-0 up and we would have had a good chance of holding in for a win, and possibly staying up. The offside and the free kick ruined not just that result but probably (though of course this is conjecture, I know) the next few games.

But contrast that team (and club) with the shambles we have now. The attitude, the spirit, the press, so much more besides.

It’s so obvious the difference it makes you wonder if there’s someone in the club’s team, publicity, marketing, communications, whatever, actively promoting this and highlighting it.

Yeah, just my paranoia or hypersensitivity, or more likely just the club’s incompetence.
