If you have a relationship where you can have sensible discussions then go for it. Shouldn’t be *that* hard to organise your social life around your kids.

only you know your ex though and whether you’d get a ‘sorry, I know…” or a slanging match. If the latter, is it worth picking the fight over this?

Could all snowball and your kid ends up getting grilled for info after each weekend to try to find fault with the other parent.
