That’s just a consequence of being self-funding

You either put the PL money into transfers (+agent fees), or into wages, or try to do a mix.

If we can’t pay more than £60k per week it’s because we don’t have the money to do so.

Won’t be long before we find ourselves similarly priced out of top championship level players too.
