Webber will be horrible when he has properly departed
He’s been allowed to be too ‘front and centre’ for someone in that role and you won’t convince me in a million years that the managers aren’t having to consult him on everything from appointment of players, to actual team selection on a weekly basis.
I don’t think the footballing season has any relevance to people like him. It’s all about the value of the players as assets and churning more and more money through every conceivable means.
