Safe to say Max’s star has faded this season

He has been one of our better performers no doubt, but that’s a pretty low bar. He hasn’t really impacted games in the way a “great” player should. My guess is this season will have put off those elite European clubs, or at least made them reluctant to invest big bucks.

I’m mostly looking at all the money that has gone into those loans - all of them. A total and complete waste, for which we now have absolutely nothing other than some bitter memories.
