To my mind the priorities lie elsewhere. Time and time again, the reports on here are that we have little or no supply from the right and little or no ability in central midfield to win the ball, keep the ball and provide service to the wings and strikers. I also think defenders at this level and higher (ours excepted perhaps ...) cope pretty easily with a big 'un/little 'un strike force - it's just too basic.

People below are going on about England playing a five man midfield with a lone (short) striker with one of the five pushing forward to support Owen. Why can't we try the same thing - reports suggested that Hughes played OK doing that away from home in the last few matches.
