I understand that the UK guidelines are basically that you can glance longingly at a pint once a month. 14 units a week? Is that 7 pints a week? 1 bottle of wine a week? Most of Europe has a limit around 35 units per week. 3 bottles of wine a week per person.

What do you consider excessive?
