It's obviously not popular but I can see why they have done it.

Why would you want to antagonise innocent fans it's hardly there fault any of this has happened.
Waving flags at them is just going to provoke them and could get ugly inside the ground so that's then a policing issue. Feel sorry for our fans who have to sit next to them tonight mind, It's going to be rough.
Saying that I can imagine the abuse being shouted at them will be much worse.

Football should stay out of politics and get back to football.
