The prem is the pinacle of ability and wealth but not of enjoyment for most fans.

That no team is consistently successful, and success begets failure. That Burnley 5 season includes 14th, 15th and their current 18th. All s**tty seasons, but 'yay' at least they were in the prem, not really winning or scoring goals. And playing crap footy to boot.

That relegation at the end of the season is not the end of the world, and football, like life will go on (unless Putin presses the big red button).
