Being established vs being a yo-yo club: Norwich V Burnley

I thought it would be interesting to compare our last 5 seasons to Burnley as a club that is of a similar size and which held up by some as what we should aspire to in the prem.

Over the last 5 seasons and up to today they have won 64 games. We have won exactly 100.

Over the same period they have scored 218 goals and we have scored 343.

Ultimately football is about scoring goals, winning games and going home with a smile on your face.

Yes it is s**t at the moment, but we need to remember that the prem is a s**t competition, even if you do manage to grimly hang on in there for a few years. It may have the best teams and the best players but it is not the best supporting experience for suppporters unless you are one of the big 6 in whose favour it is tilited.

Yeah we might not bounce straight back but so what? Most football ends in failure for most teams each year. But we still come back.
