He also could raise a lot more by selling the likes of Howson, Oliveira, Pritchard... in order to fund a decent rebuild.
Our promotions certainly weren't all down to him, the club had good foundations when he joined. And I fear that the next CEO we get, will not be left with anything like the quality of assets that he inherited.
