He's made a very pointed, public, unambiguous comment about the nature of the club's support. It was directed at you, me and everyone.

Given that the nature of protest against him has been measured and devoid of personal abuse I think it is the supporters who should be praised for their restraint, not a well-paid, underachieving manager.
