Doncaster response: no answer, no excuse

Hmm. Does any of that actually deal with the issue? Absolutely not and he's barely even trying, to be honest. The inference of the word 'true' is clear and unambiguous. Let there be no doubt.

It has ALWAYS been used, rightly or wrongly, as a phrase to differentiate between 'types' of fans - to differentiate between, 'real' or 'proper' fans and those whose support for a club is a little more vague, less worthy, less passionate.

Worthington said 'true' knowing full well the inference of such a word. Those who applauded him and the team are BETTER fans.

Doncaster really might as well not bother trying to justify it and he also looks downright silly trying to use Worthington's programme notes as an example of his 'love' for all supporters. What utter crap! As if Worthington writes them! As if his 'thanks' were anything other than the default copy-and-paste end of season platitudes found in every single programme at every game in England!

Come now, how stupid do you think we are?
