Shapps said the Gov had banned ships with "any Russian connection"

Now to me, if a ship was carrying Russian cargo then, irrespective of anything else, that is a connection between that ship and Russia.

I'm not quite sure why what was quite a tongue-in-cheek (but accurate) original post has caused you to fly off the handle like this, perhaps best to leave personal criticisms out of future posts though.
