Glad that we were doing our bit to give them anti-tank missiles while Germany dithered. (Merkel's decision to treat Russia as a reliable member of the community, presumably done at least partly in the hope that treating them in that way would help them to become reliable, is looking like one of the biggest geopolitical miscalculations since the war.) Remarkable how Germany has u-turned in the last week, but yet another reminder of the virtues of democracy, when leaders have to respond to the people they govern.
