Like when he didn't annex Crimea whilst Trump was in power?

The difference between Trump and Biden is that I strongly suspect Trump would have resisted such extreme sanctions.
We'd still be at the stage of words & freezing the odd bank account, and Putin would probably have his puppet in Kyiv by now.

Whether that would have been a better or worse outcome from a humanitarian and long term geopolitical perspective, who knows at this stage.
