Meanwhile I’m completely in agreement with you on the need for more than one coat of paint whatever it says on the tin. However Dulux (texture of thick lightly whipped cream) is SO much better than than Crown (texture of runny single cream)

I am not a fan of painting, nor am I particularly skilled in it, it would seem (hence only just now painting the corridor, having moved in almost a year and a half ago).

I’m also a little disappointed that where I thought my hair was charmingly speckled with a few flecks of paint, it is in fact just a bit grey. Sigh!
